This could be Pitt’s best offense under Narduzzi

Pitt has been inconsistent on offense over the years, but if Kenny Pickett can stay healthy, this offense could be scary good.

Pickett is back for yet another season for the Panthers and he was on his way to having his best campaign last year until he got hurt. He finished with over 2,400 yards, with 13 touchdowns. He also threw for nine interceptions and he is going to have to cut down on the turnovers for this offense to get to where it needs to be.

It seems like every season we are waiting for Pickett to break through and be one of the better quarterbacks in the conference. This is his last shot to prove he can be just that.

The running game has a chance to be very good this season. Vincent Davis had a solid season last year and had to carry the load when Pickett went down with injury. While I think Davis is the clear No. 1 back, Israel Abanikanda is a guy that should get the top spot behind Davis.

Pickett is going to be happy with the receivers that he is going to be throwing to in 2021. Jordan Addison is one of the best receivers in the ACC and he should have a great 2021 season. Outside of Addison, guys like Taysir Mack, Shocky Jacques-Louis, and Jared Wayne round out a dangerous group of receivers.

The offensive line returns three starters and is welcoming in Marcus Minor, a guard transfer from Maryland.

If Pickett stays healthy, this could be a dangerous offense.
