Toure hits 100

Nebraska football suffered a big loss when Wan’Dale Robinson transferred to Kentucky, but also made a big addition in former Montana All-American Samore Toure.

Toure racked up nearly 1,500 yards during the 2019 season at Montana. He also averaged around 17 yards per reception and while he’s coming from the FCS, Toure will show that he’s more than capable of producing in the Big Ten with a breakout performance against the Illini that will feature at least one explosive play down the field.

Illinois surrendered nearly 2.5 touchdown passes per game and I see Toure getting into the end zone on Saturday. Will that be enough to win?

Prediction

This isn’t going to be easy for the Huskers but I see them having a big edge with all the returning experience, as well as the cohesion of a returning coaching staff.

People are doubting Frost and while it’s understandable, a win here could help restore a little faith and at least keep the positive buzz going forward.

I see it happening Saturday and even though both teams will have some sluggish moments, Nebraska has the edge at QB and it will make all the difference.
