Alabama’s next star quarterback

Some other programs have had great runs at quarterback, with Oklahoma, Clemson, Ohio State, and some others coming to mind.

But no program has had more success at the quarterback position when it comes to getting guys drafted and winning championships. And following a ridiculous performance against Miami in the season opener on Saturday, new Alabama starter Bryce Young looks as good as any quarterback in college football.

Young completed 71 percent of his passes and threw for 344 yards and four touchdowns. He also didn’t throw an interception on 38 attempts in his first career start.

The former five-star lived up to the hype and you can see why he was able to land such a massive NIL contract this summer when the flood gates opened.

College football fans just have to get used to Alabama having one of the best quarterbacks in the nation, each and every year.

Tuscaloosa has turned into a quarterback factory and Young is the next great. He might also be the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner.
