No. 1: Clemson:  The Tigers’10-3 loss is definitely a case of two things being true. The offense — or lack thereof — indeed causes concern. This is Clemson’s most talented roster, and Georgia stifled the Tigers’ offense.

Bulldogs’ defensive tackle Jordan Davis was dominant, and that might not be a sufficient enough superlative. Davis had two tackles for loss and a sack, which does not even tell the story of how he lived in the Clemson backfield.

Not only did Georgia’s defensive line dominate all game long, but the Bulldogs’ secondary also left the Clemson wide receivers ineffective. Clemson quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei couldn’t find many open receivers.

On the other hand, Clemson’s defense was nasty. The Tigers’ defensive line was every bit as dominant as Georgia’s. Bryan Bresee and Myles Murphy did not get home as much as you would like, but that defensive line kept Georgia quarterback from going downfield.

The Clemson secondary did a great job against Georgia’s wide receivers. The Bulldogs had just three completions of more than ten yards.

Offensive coordinator Tony Elliot and the offensive staff have lots to fix; however, is there any team in the ACC that can score against the Tigers’ defense? Moreover, is there a defense anything close to Georgia?
