1. Miami has a lot more talent

This seems like a really simple and cliche term, but Miami is a more talented team than App State. The most talented teams do not always win games, but I think that Miami could overwhelm the Mountaineers with their size and speed.

Going back to one of my points earlier, this game has the same kind of feel that it did when the two teams met in 2016. App State will be a trendy pick to pull the upset because they won and Miami looked dreadful against Alabama.

The thing is, Alabama does that to almost everyone and I don’t think that Miami is nearly as bad as they looked.

Much like in 2016, Miami is going to look to get the Mountaineers down early and make them play from behind, which is not their strength. If Miami can hit explosive plays early and stop the run, I think Miami will blow out App State on Saturday.
