2. Haynes King will settle down and win freshman of the week

Haynes King threw three interceptions against Kent State. Two of those were deflections, so I wouldn’t blame him fully for them.

Now you have the pass rush of Colorado to contend with. However, I believe that with a game under his belt, you will see a much more improved King. There is a reason he won this job and we will see exactly that.

My bold prediction? Three touchdowns, no interceptions, and a freshman of the week nod from the SEC. I believe that any more touchdowns will be scored by the running backs, but I think you see Ainias Smith, Jalen Wydermeyer, and Caleb Chapman at least back in the end zone.

The running back room is great, but so is the receiving room. These are talented guys that are completely capable of helping out their freshman quarterback.
