Bryce Young has another Heisman performance

In his first career start against Miami, a ranked opponent on a neutral field, Bryce Young threw for over 300 yards and four touchdowns. He also connected on a 94-yard bomb which helped vault him into Heisman contention.

The field was rather weak this year and while Spencer Rattler was the favorite, Young is right there with him and will add to his candidacy against Florida football on Saturday.

Kaiir Elam is a really solid piece and every secondary in the country would be lucky to have a cornerback of his caliber. But beyond that, Florida has issues defending the pass and that’s been evident against South Florida and Florida Atlantic as the Gators have allowed 221 yards per game.

Young has some talented options in Jameson Williams, John Metchie, and Jojo Earle, and Florida isn’t going to be able to stop them all.

When it’s over, Young will eclipse 300 yards and we’ll say he throws three touchdowns for good measure.
