1. Kyren Williams finally has a breakout game

Through two games, we have yet to see what Kyren Williams is fully capable of. Following a 1,000-yard season in his redshirt freshman year in 2020, Williams has been nothing short. of pedestrian in 2021.

Is it because everyone expected him to succeed in his second year as the starting running back after a breakout freshman season? Is it because the word “Heisman” was being thrown around with Williams a lot this offseason? Both of those could be true and the pressure may have gotten to the sophomore back, but he’s going to bounce back against Purdue.

Purdue has only allowed an average of 101 yards rushing per game this season but it has faced UConn and Oregon State, so the Boilermakers haven’t quite seen a rusher like Williams.

We’re going to see Williams bounce back in a big way against the Boilermakers, rushing for over 100 yards for the first time this season. He’s going to make life difficult for Purdue all afternoon long.
