3. Charleston Rambo emerged as Miami’s top target

Miami has struggled to find a No. 1 receiver the past couple of seasons, but they might have found one after this game. The lone bright spot for the Hurricanes was the emergence of Charleston Rambo as the top target for D’Eriq King and the offense.

Rambo took advantage of Michigan State playing soft coverage and caught several short passes and made the most of them after the catch. His two touchdown catches came in key moments and he was the guy that King looked to whenever they needed a big play.

Rambo was thought to be Miami’s big addition when he came over from Oklahoma, but he had not shown up through the first couple of games. This could be a good sign for Miami and the offense and they could use as much of it as they can right now.
