Wide Receiver Avery Davis / Running back Kyren Williams

Had to go with a tie here so I could get one more player that deserved to get a game ball. You will all see who that player is in a minute.

Avery Davis and Kyren Williams both had huge games for the Irish on offense to help them come away with a win over in-state rival Purdue.

Davis finished the game with 5 receptions for 120 yards and one touchdown reception. Williams had a good day both on the ground and receiving on his end. The talented running back went for 91 yards on the ground with 12 carries, and two receptions for 47 yards through the air. Kyren Williams also had two touchdowns with one coming on the ground and the other through the air.

These two players had slower starts to their 2021 campaigns but both had huge break out games on Saturday to help the Irish take care of business and get a victory over Purdue.
