Penn State will win the Big Ten East

Yes, it is only three weeks into the season but Penn State football looks really good. Penn State seems to be clicking on both sides of the ball.

The offense and defense both are playing well and are good enough to not only win the Big Ten East but also win the Big Ten Championship down the road.

Penn State has a good quarterback in Sean Clifford, playmakers at wide receivers in Jahan Dotson and Parker Washington, and also key guys on defense like linebackers Brandon Smith and Ellis Brooks who have stepped up and are all over the field.

The only thing that worries me so far is the running game has been a disappointment for Penn State, but that can improve as the year goes on.

Not many people have as good of a resume as Penn State right now with top 25 wins over Wisconsin in week one and then on Saturday over Auburn. Next week we will see how good that victory was over Wisconsin when the Badgers meet another ranked opponent in Notre Dame but right now it is a great win.

There is a lot of season left as it is not even October yet, plus these are hot takes so might as well go out a limb a little bit. If Penn State can continue to play like they have during the first three weeks of the year I see no reason why they will not win their side of the Big Ten.
