Winner: Arkansas (Up to No. 8)

The biggest winner this weekend was the Razorbacks. Head coach Sam Pittman has done a wonderful job of turning around a program that was winless in the SEC just a couple of seasons ago. This is a tough and physical football team that has an identity.

The Razorback’s defense was great at limiting anything that A&M was trying through the air. The running game was solid and they made enough plays through the air courtesy of receiver Treylon Burks. Arkansas is going to have a chance to climb even further in the top ten with the schedule they have coming up. With games against Georgia, Ole Miss, and Alabama on deck, there is no time for celebrating for too long in Arkansas.

Winner: Oklahoma State (Up to No. 19)

Don’t look now, but Oklahoma State is 4-0 and has some tough wins on their schedule. After a close call in week two against Tulsa, I largely dismissed the Cowboys. However, after two gritty wins over Boise State and Kansas State, they are deserving of respect.

The Big 12 is a wild show right now. Iowa State has two losses already, Baylor is undefeated and Oklahoma is surviving week-to-week. It is going to be a crazy season in this conference, but for now, Oklahoma State has to be taken seriously.
