2. Georgia has the best offensive/defensive line combo in the country

When you play the way Kirby Smart wants to play football, you build the trenches. Not many teams have done it as well as Georgia. As a result, the Bulldogs have the best offensive/defensive line combination in the country.

The coaching staff built Georgia to move people along the lines of scrimmage. Defensively, the Bulldogs are nearly impossible to run the football against. Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis is a mountain of a man on the interior.

Davis can move people and take on two linemen to keep the linebackers clean. That proved true today against Arkansas. The Razorbacks had just 75 rushing yards on 29 rushes. Quarterback K.J. Davis ran for just five yards.

The offensive line dominated the Razorbacks today. The plan was to run the football and run the football often. Not only did Georgia run the football, the Razorbacks knew they were going to run the football and could do nothing to stop it.

The Bulldogs got what they wanted in the run game and dominated Arkansas’ 3-2-6 defense. Even when the Razorbacks brought more defenders down in the box, that did little to deter the Bulldogs power running game.

The superiority of the Bulldogs won the day this afternoon.
