Loser: Oregon (No. 8)

The Ducks had been playing with fire since their big win over Ohio State and this weekend they got burnt. After playing a closer than expected game against Arizona, Oregon was taken down by Stanford and now the Pac-12’s playoff hopes are on life support.

Now to be clear, Oregon is still in the playoff race. They have a win on the road at Ohio State and if they can find a way to improve and win out, that win in Columbus should get them in. However, Oregon has no margin for error any longer and with games against Arizona State and UCLA still on the table, as well as rival Oregon State, it is not going to be easy for the Ducks.

Loser: Florida (No. 20)

After playing such a good game against Alabama a couple of weeks ago, this has to be very frustrating for Florida fans to watch the offense shrink up like this against Kentucky. The Gators looked like one of the best teams in the country through the first month, but now they don’t have much hope at all to win the SEC East or even get to a New Year’s Six game.

The offense did not play well and the play-calling was very questionable at best. It will be interesting to see if Florida can rally or if more losses are on the way for the Gators.
