Notre Dame had zero points in the third quarter and the Bearcats were driving into Notre Dame territory. The Irish needed a momentum shift.

Foskey helped deliver that as he came around the edge and strip-sacked Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder.

Linebacker Drew White picked up the ball and helped return it inside the Cincinnati 40 to set up the Notre Dame offense for its first points of the day.

Foskey finished the day with three tackles with one being that key sack. He helped give his team life and rejuvenate a sold-out crowd. It did not result in a win in the end, but should not go unnoticed.
