3. Ole Miss (vs. Arkansas)

On one hand, Arkansas is the higher-ranked team. On the other, Ole Miss is the favored team and is at home. Each is coming off beatings from the top two teams in the country: Ole Miss was doubled up by Alabama 42-21 and Arkansas was shut out 37-0 against Georgia.

Arkansas should be able to run against a Rebel defense giving up over 150 yards per game, especially after seeing Alabama absolutely torch Lane Kiffin’s crew with 210 yards and four rushing touchdowns. Arkansas ran for 75 yards on Georgia, the same defense that held Clemson to two yards on the ground.

This game will be strength vs. strength: the Rebels’ offense against the Razorbacks’ defense. Ole Miss has the third-ranked offense in terms of yards per game while Arkansas has the 10th-ranked total defense in the country.

That will be Arkansas’ key to the game: stop Matt Corral.

Corral might have been knocked from his Heisman perch last week by Alabama, but he’s still one of the elite players in college football this season. He’s yet to throw an interception while throwing for over 1200 yards and ten touchdowns. He’s just as dangerous with his legs, where he has six rushing touchdowns on the season.

Dating back to the start of last season, Corral has a 1-4 record when he’s held under 300 yards passing. The one win came against Austin Peay. And if you want some more history, the last time Corral played Arkansas? Two hundred yards passing, two touchdowns, and six interceptions led to a 33-21 Razorback victory.
