1. Notre Dame will not lose another regular-season game

Notre Dame moved to 5-1 on the season heading into their bye next week before USC comes to South Bend on Oct. 23. Looking at the remaining teams on the schedule with the likes of USC, UNC, Stanford, and a few others the Irish will be favored in all of them.

You still have to go out and play the games well and execute the game plan, but this Notre Dame team with their roster and the tougher games being played at Notre Dame Stadium should finish the regular season 11-1.

Notre Dame currently also has the best loss of the top teams in the country right now. The problem is there are still a bunch of teams ahead of them. The good news for Notre Dame is that there still is a lot of season left for chaos to happen in college football. So who knows what the future holds for the Irish.

One thing we do know is this win over Virginia Tech prevented Notre Dame from having back-to-back losses in a very long time and potentially having the rest of the season spiral down the wrong path.
