Game 7: at Army

The Army Black Knights will be hosting Wake Forest on Oct. 23, with the latter coming off of a bye week.

Army is currently 4-1 on the season, and there is certainly nothing wrong with such a record at face value. However, the win column includes no one of merit while the loss was dealt by a 3-3 Ball State squad. Especially with Wake being well-rested, leaving West Point with a win should be no problem. We’ll lock the chance to win in at 90 percent.

Game 8: vs. Duke

The Blue Devils kick off the stretch of huge rivals that await Wake later on this year.

The Demon Deacons will not only be at home for this one, but it will also be their homecoming game; as if Duke looking inferior wasn’t bad enough. The chances for this one should look good for Wake as well, but they’ll take a hit for it being such an intense rivalry: 70 percent.

Game 9: at North Carolina

Now, this is where things start to get rocky. North Carolina is 3-3 and not looking good right now. However, they will be at home and Wake will most likely be fatigued.

Also, North Carolina head coach Mack Brown knows his way around the Deacs, he always has. But who’s to say that the Tar Heels won’t be tired at all when coming to face Wake? And Wake Forest has still looked better, regardless. We’ll place the chances to win this one at 50 percent (they were evenly matched last season when North Carolina looked much better, so this time around the roles might merely be reversed).
