Best Group of Five Player No. 10: Rasheen Ali, Marshall RB

There aren’t many running backs in the G5 who have pounded the rock like freshman Rasheen Marshall. The Thundering Herd back leads the country with 11 rushing touchdowns — even more amazing if you consider the fact that he’s only scored touchdowns in four of his six games this season. Ali also leads the country in total points (78) and total touchdowns (13). The Cleveland, Ohio native has caught a touchdown pass and returned a 97-yard kickoff for a touchdown.

Best Group of Five Player No. 9: Jalen Cropper, Fresno State WR

Back-to-back stellar performances against UCLA and UNLV catapulted junior wide receiver Jalen Cropper into the conversation for one of the best receivers among G5 college football teams. In those two games alone, Cropper totaled 24 catches, 249 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns. He currently holds the lead for most receiving touchdowns in college football (9) and has the seventh-most receptions (44).
