Ja’Quan McMillian, a sophomore cornerback, is an outstanding defensive back that excels in baiting opposing QBs to throw his way. McMillian is tied for first in the country for most interceptions with four and has more pass deflections (12) than anyone else in the FBS. The Winston-Salem native has also recorded 37 total tackles and forced a fumble midway through the 2021 college football season.

One of the coolest first names in college football has been calm and collected all season long for Texas-San Antonio. Sincere McCormick is first among all rushers in the FBS with 155 carries. The Roadrunners keep calling his name and he keeps producing. Halfway through the season, he has 661 rushing yards, 6 touchdowns, and zero fumbles. He’s recorded 100 or more rushing yards in four of his six games, including a 184 yard, 3-touchdown outburst against Memphis.
