2. Ole Miss (at Tennessee)

If you listen closely, you can already hear the sound of offense.

We know Ole Miss can light up the scoreboard, but Tennessee has been white-hot on offense, scoring 107 points over the last two games.

It’s not only how good both offenses that are averaging over 41 points per game are, it’s that both defenses are more than capable of giving up plenty of points. It’s strength against weakness on both sides. Something’s gotta give.

I can’t overstate just how high scoring this game should be. The over/under in this game is 82, which in the SEC is insanity. There’s a legitimate chance that we see 50 points on each side.

Can you totally trust Tennessee not to make an inexplicable turnover late? It might be too soon to tell, but the play of quarterback Hendon Hooker is the main reason for the Vols offense finally making a return — 450 yards, six touchdowns, and a 75 percent completion rate will do that to any offense.

If you do trust Tennessee, then which defense makes the big stop late? Neither offense will be stopped, but which one makes the mistake will go a long way in determining the outcome.
