2. Bo Nix getting back on track

Bo Nix went from being above average at times to completely dismal in the loss to Georgia. He will focus on the mistakes he made and do whatever it takes to fix them. He’s too good to have that kind of performance twice. He only needs a few good passes to gain his confidence back and it will grow. Though he can be streaky at best he’s a very exciting player capable of huge down the field plays to get Auburn football into the thick of it.

He has the ability to score from nearly anywhere on the field. His woes are more about the struggling receiver core of Auburn who could not catch anything thrown at them last Saturday. He also makes some less than smart decisions but he has made up for that at times. That was seen on a national level in Baton Rouge when the Tigers beat LSU.

Come Saturday, he will have just enough magic to leap over the razorbacks of Arkansas.

What Bo lacks in high ability and talent he makes up for in exciting plays. Silky moves and scrambling around until he can find the open man. As long as he gets the win Harsin will not care how they get it. So long as they do.

The inconsistent play definitely frustrates Auburn football fans and is why TJ Finely has been put in a couple of times this season. Neither time could he be the savior for them either.

There also may be a chance Finely comes in again if Bo continues his whimsical play. There is a chance but I think because Arkansas and Auburn match up more evenly in several areas defense especially Bo will have the start and a great game.

Luckily for the Tigers, Arkansas has not been very good at sacking quarterbacks. Hopefully, that gives Bo a little bit of break and breathing room. He has not proven himself as an elite quarterback since his time at Auburn but he has established himself as a big arm quarterback who can make plays happen.

With Bo, you never quite know what you’ll get. Unpredictable at best but when he is on top of his game he can hang with any other quarterback and any other team.

Bo has a total of 1196 passing yards this year and six touchdowns. Prepare for him to really tack onto it in Fayetteville.
