These Group of Five schools are not getting the attention they deserve. SMU has defeated a Power Five school in TCU when they went on the road to defeat the Horned Frogs, has two wins of Pac-12 schools with one of them being on the road, and Coastal Carolina is continuing their on the field success from last season by starting off the season undefeated winning their first six games.
All three schools can win their conference and if all three of the above schools can achieve that as well as winning their conference championship game, at minimum, a New Year’s Six bowl game is in their future.
