A&M defense gets stingy again

While Missouri has really struggled to stop opposing teams, holding just two six opponents under 30, the Tigers do have a pretty solid offense in their own right, ranking 18th in scoring offense.

Connor Bazelak leads a balanced attack from the quarterback position and has 12 touchdown passes compared to five interceptions. The Tigers also have eight different receivers with at least 10 receptions, so Bazelak is distributing the football.

The leader in receptions is Tyler Badie — well the running back is tied for the lead in receptions along with Keke Chism. Badie has 675 rushing yards and 12 total touchdowns.

Missouri will want to run the football and probably try to shorten the game, but my prediction is that Badie is held under 100 rushing yards. I also think the Aggies intercept Bazelak twice after sacking him repeatedly.

The pass rush is fierce and the Texas A&M defense isn’t going to allow someone to score more than 30 for the second week in a row. In fact, I doubt Missouri even hits 20, unless the Tigers add some garbage time touchdowns as the Aggies look for real in a blowout win.
