We’re going to finally see Baylor back in the AP Top 25 after beating BYU by multiple scores and I had the Bears projected to be back in the rankings last weekend, but I was slightly wrong as they received the third-most votes. Dave Aranda has this team seriously contending for a Big 12 title.

Going on to the road to beat a really good Arkansas team is a good sign for Bryan Harsin and the Tigers. Bo Nix and Co. really went to Fayetteville and pulled off a win that no one expected them to and they will jump back into the Top 25 and they truly deserve it. Auburn was the first team outside of the rankings last weekend and that will change this week. Welcome back, Auburn.

I’ll be honest, I’m impressed that NC State went on the road and handled a solid Boston College team like it did on Saturday night. The Wolfpack got a solid performance from Devin Leary with 251 yards and three touchdowns and the defense stepped up, but will they compete for an ACC title? We shall see.

Zach Calzada and the Aggies went on the road and picked up a big 21-point win over Missouri on Saturday afternoon and despite the fact that they have two losses on the year, this team is dangerous in the SEC. Beating Alabama a week ago and winning a quality road game in Week 7? The Aggies should jump into the top 20.

Wake Forest got a bye in Week 7, so there’s a good shot that Sam Hartman and the Demon Deacons are the best team in the ACC. If we judged it on just how Clemson fared against Syracuse, it’s quite obvious that they are the ACC’s best team. But they have NC State and other teams from the league to worry about.
