Loser: Iowa (No. 11)

The Hawkeyes turnover magic ran out on Saturday and they dropped from the number two ranking. Quarterback Spencer Petras threw four interceptions and Iowa could not move the ball well enough on Purdue and it cost the Hawkeyes.

There is still a path for Iowa to climb back into the playoff race, but it is going to take them fixing their offensive woes and becoming more explosive. The toughest tests for Iowa will come against Wisconsin and Nebraska and whoever they might play in the Big Ten title game.

Loser: Florida (Unranked)

This is now back-to-back seasons that Florida has lost an inexplicable game to LSU when they were down several starters. Florida’s defense put forth a horrendous effort against the run and LSU was struggling to run the ball coming into the game.

This is another head-scratching loss for Dan Mullen at Florida. With a game against top-ranked Georgia looming, this season could get much worse for Florida and it could be time for the hot seat to get warmer for Mullen in Gainesville.
