Loser: Arizona State (Unranked)

The Sun Devils just cannot seem to take advantage of opportunities under head coach Herm Edwards. Arizona State looked like they might be the best team in the conference, but they blew a big lead against Utah on Saturday.

This was another instance in which Arizona State has lost a game as a ranked team and Edwards does not seem to play very well as a favorite. Arizona State can still win the Pac-12 South and maybe even the conference, but they are going to have to play more consistently.

Loser: Arkansas (Unranked)

It was not but a few weeks ago when the Razorbacks were in the top ten and looking like a spoiler in the SEC. After being humbled at Georgia and losing a heartbreaker to Ole Miss, Arkansas could not get going enough in time for them to beat Auburn. They have still exceeded expectations, but Arkansas fans are starting to realize that this is still going to be a tough rebuild.

The Razorbacks still have a good shot at a bowl game and that is a great thing in Sam Pittman’s second season. They might not be the top-10 squad they were a few weeks ago, but this is great improvement.
