2. Jerome Ford has another jam-packed performance

Speaking of special players and a one-two punch, in comes Jerome Ford for the Bearcats. Last week, he carried the ball for 189 yards and four touchdowns. His longest run was a 79-yard touchdown scamper. It was an impressive performance for the redshirt sophomore from Tampa.

On the season, Ford has three other games of over 110 yards. He has carried the ball 102 times for 705 yards, good for an average of 6.9 yards per carry and 12 touchdowns. It’s always a quarterback’s dream to have this kind of talent and power and will to score from their back. Ford only gets more impressive as the season goes on and he’s a big reason why this team has jumped from No. 25 to No. 2 in the nation.

Many believe he should be on the list of Heisman hopefuls with Desmond Ridder.

This junior Alabama transfer is just special. When he touches the ball magic happens, and a lot of it. There is a promising future for the Bearcats and he is a large reason for it.

I predict this highly talented running back will produce 150 yards on the ground with three touchdowns, and at least one run over 50 yards. The Midshipmen will surely sink with this sensation on the ground.
