Loser: Oklahoma State (15th)

The Cowboys entered Saturday as one of the two remaining unbeaten in the Big 12, but the way they were playing on offense, it felt inevitable that they would lose. Iowa State was able to play tight with the Cowboys and now Oklahoma State has a loss in the Big 12 title race.

The Cowboys are still well-positioned to make a run to the conference championship game, but they have to find a way to get more explosive in the passing game. Spencer Sanders has not been reliable through the air and that is the biggest problem with Oklahoma State. They will bounce back, but I don’t think they are able to beat Oklahoma right now.

Loser: Purdue (Unranked)

After pulling off a big upset against Iowa, Purdue jumped into the top 25 and looked to take a step in the Big Ten West division against Wisconsin, who had not been playing well coming into Saturday. Purdue laid an egg and got blown out on their home field and as a result, the Boilermakers dropped out of the top 25. This is a team that can still make a bowl game and has played better than expected, but Saturday was a disappointing result after such a big win in the previous week.
