3. Lorenzo Styles and Deion Colzie are future stars

Notre Dame had a very good recruiting class in the 2021 class. One position they did really well at is at wide receiver. The class was led by Lorenzo Styles, Deion Colzie, and Jayden Thomas.

Styles and Colzie both have seen snaps at wide receiver this year which in the past is not common under Kelly at Notre Dame with young receivers. Goes to show the confidence that Brian Kelly and the rest of the offensive coaching staff have in the freshman receivers.

Styles had three receptions for 57 yards, while Colzie had one catch for 13 yards on Saturday against USC. The former led the way for the Irish receiving corps as well.

The two player comps I see for Styles and Colzie are former wide receivers Golden Tate and Duval Kamara. If Styles and Colzie can be anything close to those former Notre Dame receivers they will be winning a lot of games in their blue and gold careers.
