1. Brian Kelly owns USC

Notre Dame has won eight of the last 11 matchups against USC under coach Brian Kelly on the sidelines after adding another one to the victory column on Saturday night.

This was also the fourth consecutive win over USC.

It has been 1,792 days as of Sunday since USC last knocked off Notre Dame. Former Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn posted to Twitter to let Trojan fans know if they did not know already on their end last night how long it actually has been since USC has beaten the Irish.

This matchup on Saturday featured two teams going in opposite directions. Notre Dame has some young playmakers on its roster right now, so the success should stay that way for the foreseeable future with them producing on the field. The Irish are also absolutely owning the recruiting trails as of late.

On the other side of the field, USC is in the middle of another coaching change. The Jeweled Shillelagh gets to stay in South Bend for at least another year.
