3. Michigan’s run game

One of the things that the Wolverines do really well on offense is run the football. Blake Corum is one of the best backs in the Big Ten and he is looking to further his rushing total against the Spartans.

Corum is not the only running back that Michigan has in their backfield that can do damage. Hassan Haskins has had a very solid season as well and using both of these backs is the way Michigan likes to run their offense.

While Michigan has been very good at running the football this season, Michigan State has not been very good at stopping it. That is one of the biggest reasons that I think Michigan stands a good chance to win this game.

If the Spartans sell out to stop the run, it will be up to quarterback Cade McNamara to make the throws to win, but I don’t think the Spartans will be able to stop the Michigan ground attack.
