Another hot coaching name that has been connected to the Texas Tech job is UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor. Traylor signed a contract extension through 2031 with the Roadrunners on Sunday, but if he is courted by TCU football and offered the job, this would be a great opportunity for Traylor to jump at.

Traylor has the Roadrunners at 8-0 and they could possibly be in the mix for a spot in the New Years Six if Cincinnati makes the playoff or were to fail to win the AAC.
