9. Michigan (7-1)

Week 9 result: Lost to Michigan State 33-37

Poor Jim Harbaugh. It happened yet again. They come so close to winning a big rivalry game only to blow another lead to Michigan State who has owned them the past few years.

Overall, this was a fantastic game and the Wolverines should not hang their heads as they still have a lot to play for. But in the grand scheme of things, this may have spoiled their playoff hopes as they still have to face Ohio State this year.

This was unlike any other Michigan game this season. The Wolverines got torched on defense, threw for over 400 yards and could not run the ball effectively.

None of those things are normal for the Wolverines and that is not their recipe for success. They’ll need to get back to what they do best if they want to finish out the season strong.

This is usually the time of year where Jim Harbaugh’s team falls apart. Let’s see if he can rally his guys and keep it together the rest of the year.

Next game: vs Indiana

My prediction: Win 37-16
