2. Bo Nix will have a three-touchdown game

Last week, Bo Nix was the unwavering leader at quarterback that Auburn has waited for all season. There wasn’t a need for last-minute crazy plays in this contest. No fourth-quarter comeback. No cardiac kids needed. It was a well-earned victory. As an Auburn fan, it was one that was a long time coming. Just to have one game where everything was coming together on all sides of the ball, and when that happens it is very hard for anybody to beat this team.

Nix is coming off a 276-yard, three-touchdown game against the Rebels, rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for one. His passing game was slightly better going 22-for-30 with zero interceptions.

He is a quarterback who can do it all. Look for Bo to have some good runs when Tank Bigsby needs a rest. Not only can he run and throw the big passes he can scramble to buy him time to allow his receivers to get into better positions. He can run and throw some of the most dramatic passes to get his team the win. This triple-threat leader will be one of the Aggies’ biggest threats.

I’m predicting Nix runs in for one more touchdown in the red zone and throws for two with 250 yards passing in the air. Taking the pressure off the running backs again this week, he will put Auburn on his shoulders and produce another road victory at College Station, proving once and for all they are at the very least the second-best team in the SEC West. Which is more than anyone was giving them credit for before the season started.
