2. Georgia’s defense is flat-out unstoppable

What else can you say about this Georgia football defense? They continue to dominate opposing offenses week after week, and the Missouri Tigers were the latest victims of their wrath this week.

Starting a freshman quarterback has mixed results, but I feel bad for the two Mizzou freshmen who had to step in this game against this defense.

The Dawg defense allowed 273 yards of total offense on the day, with many of the 152 passing yards allowed coming off of very late fourth-quarter passes.

This is also the ninth straight game they have held opponents to less than 14 points per game. They also made a statement at the end of the game by not allowing Missouri to score at the end of the fourth quarter.

Next week might be interesting against Tennessee, who has proven they can score quickly to open up games. However, Dawg fans shouldn’t be too concerned because this defense shows they can dominate anyone at any time.
