The Rutgers Scarlet Knights were destroyed by the Wisconsin Badgers 52-3 this past weekend. This result should come as no surprise since the Badgers are significantly better than the Scarlet Knights.

However, Rutgers still has an outside chance at a bowl game. The Knights have to win two of their final three games to get in, but anything is possible the way this season has gone in the Big Ten. The Indiana game is winnable, but Maryland and Penn State are challenging games.

Much like Rutgers, the Terrapins have a chance to go bowling as well. The Terps lost to Penn State 31-14 last week, but their win against Indiana two weeks ago went far for the Terrapins’ postseason hopes.

For Maryland to make the postseason, they will do so without Dontay Demas and Jeshaun Jones wide receivers. In addition, quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa needs to throw the football to the right team.

Illinois has had quite an exciting season. The Illini can’t throw the football but have taken advantage of their veteran offensive line. Despite being one-dimensional offensively, Illinois has victories against Nebraska, Penn State, and Minnesota.

On the other hand, Illinois lost to Rutgers and UTSA. If they can win their last two games, they can go to the postseason. What will happen in the last two games? Anything based on what we’ve seen this year.
