7. Michigan State (9-1)

Week 11 result: Defeated Maryland 40-21

Speaking of Maryland, they lost to Michigan State this Saturday. ‘Lost’ isn’t even the right term to describe it; ‘blown out’ is probably a better word for it. Yes, Michigan bounced back this week and blew out the Terrapins. This was much-needed for the Spartans who had to shake off that loss from a week ago.

Kenneth Walker III continued his Heisman campaign and added 170 more yards and two touchdowns to his resumé. But wide receiver Jayden Reed might have stolen the show in this game. He had eight catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns which resulted in a PFF grade of 85.8. Not to mention, Reed is also the team’s kick returner and tallied 96 return yards.

The Spartans have been dominant at home all season long. It’s too bad they don’t play Ohio State in East Lansing. They will need all the help they can get against the Buckeyes this upcoming Saturday as they’ll look to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Next game: vs. Ohio State
Prediction: Lose 48-21
