Black Knights. 10. team. 2365. . (8-3). Previous:

Army is one of the few teams with two games remaining on their schedule: at Liberty and at home vs Navy. Liberty appears to be on a downward slide since starting off the season red-hot. Army has snot allowed more than 17 points in each of their previous three contests. Will Liberty be able to handle the 300+ rushing yards Army will surely be recording this week?

The Chants still have some fight in them despite losing Grayson McCall to injury a few weeks ago. The Sun Belt Conference powerhouse hopes to notch their 10th win of the season against at South Alabama. If they are successful, it will be the sixth time in program history that they’ve won 10 or more games in a season.

Fresno State continues to hang on, despite not winning more than three games in a row this season. The Bulldogs recorded wins against two Top-25 teams this season (UCLA, San Diego State) but hope to make their last game of the season their biggest win of the season. The Bulldogs have only gotten to nine wins just four times since 2008, in order to make it a fifth time, they’ll have to beat San Jose State— something they’ve done just three times since 2011.

(9-2). Previous: . Mountaineers . 7. team. 2393.

Appalachian State has won nine games or more now in every season since 2015 and across three different coaches— an amazing testament to the commitment to excellence in Boone, North Carolina. Appalachian State needs to get through their final game of the season against Georgia Southern before turning their focus on the Sun Belt Championship game against Louisiana. The Mountaineers will get burned if they don’t take Georgia Southern seriously.

A huge matchup against Boise State will help determine who gets top billing in the “Mountain” division of the Mountain West Conference. Boise State, a perennial powerhouse will be no easy match for the Aztecs. If San Diego State can pull off the win, they could be making an argument for being one of the best teams among all in the Group of Five.
