9. Washington State (-1) at Washington, Friday 8 PM ET, FS1

The Apple Cup could impact the Pac-12 North race which wouldn’t have come as a huge shock at the start of the season, only folks would have thought it was Washington in the mix, not Washington State.

However, as we head into Rivalry Week, the Cougars are still alive in the Pac-12 North. Interim head coach Jake Dickert has done a great job after taking over a bad situation. The Cougars are 6-5 and going bowling but a win in the Apple Cup would be a perfect way to end the season.

Plus, if Oregon State can upset Oregon, there could be a chance for the Cougars to play for the Pac-12 championship next week.

Washington has been a disaster and fired head coach Jimmy Lake recently. The Huskies have a strong defense and are tops in the country in pass defense. But the run defense struggles and even at home, I don’t see the Huskies pulling this out.

Final score: Washington State 23, Washington 20
