Coming into The Game, Ohio State football is a 7.5-point favorite. There is some belief in Michigan and I was sort of surprised that it was that low.
The Wolverines have played well at home but Michigan hasn’t played any really strong teams at the Big House. All of its toughest games — Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan State, Penn State — were on the road.
Indiana was a flop and so was Washington, so it will be interesting to see Michigan in the Big House in a game like this.
It should be a raucous atmosphere. Michigan football fans want it as bad as the players but it’s just hard to see Harbaugh and company pulling it off.
Michigan will need to have its absolute best day and hope Ohio State doesn’t. Otherwise, the Buckeyes are just too talented and win a game that’s competitive throughout.
