Loser: Ohio State (Down to No. 7)

The Buckeyes not only lost to Michigan on Saturday, but they were also physically pushed around and bullied by the Wolverines. Much like the Oregon game, Ohio State could not stop the run and they also could not run the ball. C.J. Stroud was great again and their receivers made plays, but it was not enough to be able to catch Michigan once they fell behind.

Ohio State was thought to be the biggest challenger to Georgia, but any playoff hopes the Buckeyes had gone up in smoke in Ann Arbor. While they should still get a major bowl game, this was a disappointing end for one of the nation’s most talented teams.

Loser: Texas A&M (Down to No. 24)

I think that it is safe to call Texas A&M’s victory over Alabama earlier in the season a fluke. With their loss to LSU on Saturday, the Aggies fell to 8-4 and it feels like until this team gets better quarterback play and more explosive, they are not going to get anywhere near national championship contention.

The good thing for A&M is that they have one of the nation’s best-recruiting classes incoming with several impact players. For all the money he is being paid however, Jimbo Fisher has not delivered on anything yet.
