1. What does it all mean?

The Cowboys’ win tonight means that Oklahoma is out of the Big 12 Championship game and out of Playoff contention. What does it mean for the Pokes? Oklahoma State football has mainly gone undetected on their way to an 11-1 record this season.

In October, the Cowboys’ schedule was not exactly a murderer’s row of opponents since their last loss to the Iowa State Cyclones. Before tonight’s win, the best win the Cowboys had on their schedule during this current streak was West Virginia.

As a result, the Cowboys are ranked seventh in the college football playoff rankings. How high will their Bedlam victory push the Pokes up the rankings this coming Tuesday? Ohio State’s loss gives the Cowboys some room but is it enough?

The committee has to answer whether or not the Bedlam win tonight is a better resume builder than any game Cincinnati has on its schedule. It will come as a shocker to no one if Oklahoma State and Michigan leapfrog the Bearcats this Tuesday.
