2. Michigan (11-1)

Week 13 result: Defeated Ohio State 42-27

They did it. They finally did it. Congratulations to Jim Harbaugh who finally defeated his arch-nemesis the Ohio State Buckeyes.

This was an outcome that I did not see coming. I could not believe how well Michigan played in this game. I didn’t think they had the horses to do it, but boy was I wrong. This team is legit and demands respect.

Michigan was truly the better team and dominated the Buckeyes both offensively and defensively. Aidan Hutchinson proved that he might be the best player in the country. He bulldozed Ohio State’s line all game long getting pressure on the QB snap after snap.

Mind you, Ohio State has one of the best offensive lines in the country and Hutchinson made them look like a joke. He sacked CJ Stroud 3 times to add his total of 13 sacks on the season. If I had a vote, I would Aidan Hutchinson to win the Heisman. That’s how good he’s been.

There’s no one offensive player who has separated themselves from the rest so why not give it to a defensive player this year. We can’t forget about Hassan Haskins in this game though.

He ran all over the Buckeyes going for 174 yards and five touchdowns. I repeat….five total rushing touchdowns! This Ohio State defense simply could not stop Michigan whatsoever. It was all too easy for them to score the entire game. Good for Michigan for finally beating their rival for the first time in 10 years. This win was long overdue.

Now, comes Iowa in the Big Ten Championship game which means the Wolveirnes are one win from the playoff.
