Big Ten: Iowa keeps the game within 10

Don’t let the 10.5-point spread (according to WynnBET) fool you, Michigan is visually one of the larger favorites to win this weekend, so Iowa keeping this one within 10 would be a noteworthy feat for the Hawkeyes.

Before the Hawkeyes had lost their rhythm, they had one of the most opportunistic defenses in the country; any team would be scared to throw the ball against them.

Not only that, but veteran Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz has these boys playing some of the most physical football in the country year in and year out.

Is that too much for the Michigan Wolverines to handle? Considering how they handled OSU last Saturday, probably not. That does not mean that they can get away with an abundance of mistakes, though.

Michigan is coming off of a huge rivalry win, so they will most likely do some cooling off in this game. In other words, they won’t be scoring another 42 points, possibly not even 32. But their own physical play will be able to stifle the mediocre Hawkeyes offense to a point where the better team will be evident after four quarters.

Score: Michigan 34, Iowa 26
