3. Michigan’s defense is much more explosive than Iowa’s offense

Led by Aiden Hutchinson and David Ojabo, this Michigan defense has phenomenal talent that is only rivaled by Georgia from the SEC.

These two players have combined for 24 sacks on the season, creating havoc for opposing offenses every game.

Against one of the most talented quarterbacks in the country, Michigan sacked Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud for a season-high four times. The most any other team got to Stroud was two sacks in a game, which happened three different games.

Iowa’s offensive line is going to have a hard time keeping these guys off quarterback Spencer Petras. Petras has completed less than ten passes in each of his three previous game appearances.

Back-up Alex Padilla hasn’t been much better, completing less than 45 percent of his passes in his most recent three-game stretch.

Michigan will exploit Iowa’s weakness at quarterback and make them pay for it in big ways.

Michigan will face Iowa for the Big Ten title on Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
