Orange Bowl

Michigan was given a 0.0 percent chance of reaching the College Football Playoff by the ESPN FPI during the spring, but following another impressive win over Iowa to win the Big Ten title, the Wolverines are right there.

Georgia didn’t expect to be in this game. Or at least, college football fans didn’t. The Bulldogs were poised to beat Bama, but now must beat Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines to get a rematch.

Stetson Bennett played well all year but threw multiple interceptions against Alabama and Kirby Smart will need to decide between him and JT Daniels.

The Wolverines play two quarterbacks too, but Cade McNamara is the guy. Michigan also has an elite defense, just like Georgia, as well as a stout running game. Aidan Hutchinson will need to be special, but the Bulldogs will rebound and set up another national title game with Alabama.

I expect a competitive game, however, Georgia’s talent will win out in the end.
