The return of quarterback Phil Jurkovec made a world of difference for the Eagles. Head coach Jeff Haffley had the right formula for getting to the postseason. Boston College went undefeated in their non-conference and found two ACC wins.

There is an argument that the Eagles would have won if Jurkovec had not gotten injured. However, the Eagles find themselves bowl-eligible for the second season under Hafley.

. 5-7, 4-4. . Seminoles . 10. team. 804

What can you say about the job head coach Mike Norvell and the Seminoles did this season? This team played hard all season. The roster is not deep, yet the Seminoles kept fighting. Their blowout loss to Florida aside, Florida State did not pack it in.

Their loss to their interstate rivals was a case of them running out of gas. Though they did not go bowling this postseason, Florida State should feel confident they have something to build on next season.

There was a lot of buzz around the Tar Heel program in the preseason. Here at headquarters, we were confused about much of the hubbub. North Carolina lost five of its six best players from the 2020 team to the NFL Draft.

North Carolina had never lost that much talent before and had to have a lot of young players step up. The Tar Heels are undoubtedly talented, but this was a step-back season, and it should have been.
