Myles Brennan to Nebraska

When it comes to Scott Frost, 2022 is do or die.

Nebraska football gave the head coach another chance but he has to put together a winning season in 2022 and get the Huskers to a bowl game.

Frost did make dramatic changes to his offensive staff and added Mark Whipple from Pittsburgh as offensive coordinator following his spectacular season directing Kenny Pickett and the Panthers offense.

Frost also hired a wide receivers coach from LSU and therefore, it’s not a big shock to see that the Huskers offered Myles Brennan this week.

Brennan was the one-time starter at LSU and tossed 11 touchdowns compared to just three interceptions in 2020 while completing 60 percent of his throws. He’s not really a dual-threat but he would be a veteran that could take over the job next season.

Nebraska fans are hoping for Spencer Rattler and if Chip Kelly leaves UCLA, who knows what could happen? Certainly, Frost and company would love Rattler and can sell a top-flight offensive coordinator, but it might not be enough to get him to Lincoln, Nebraska.

Brennan though? Mickey Joseph, the LSU staffer at Nebraska, could probably pull that off.
