The race won’t be all that close

The race is going to be close between second, third, and fourth place. I fully expect that but I don’t think there will be much time spent breaking down votes afterward.

Young’s performance in the comeback win over Auburn put him back into the lead. Then, after he put together a stellar showing against Georgia, the race was basically over.

Kenny Pickett also closed the season really strong. He led Pittsburgh to the ACC championship and had a stellar outing of his own in the win over Wake Forest.

Pickett has put together about as much momentum as Hutchinson down the stretch and it was enough to get him invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony too, however, he’s probably going to finish better than fourth.

The race has been fluid, as I said, but it hasn’t really been fluid at the top and while the order of 2-4 could be a little different, the top choice will be clear.
